Physical
Restraint Reduction Training Sessions
As a physical restraint reduction
training site, staff have faced common challenges and were able
to successfully eliminate physical restraints. Educational
sessions assist nursing facilities within the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania to develop strong physical restraint reduction processess.
These sessions focus on core philosophy with an emphasis on individualized
assessment and safe alternatives to physical restraint use.
PLEASE NOTE:
The Pennsylvania Restraint
Reduction Initiative's training sessions are free to Pennsylvania
providers only. However, Untie the Elderly offers
programs to those outside of Pennsylvania for a nominal cost.
